Review:

This is one of those book, which sucks you in from the very first page, and you can’t stop until it’s through. It’s a very well written Novella; characters are likeable as well as believable.  I really enjoyed the flow and pace of the story line, which you can tell was well thought out and thoroughly projected onto the pages.

I didn’t find any grammatical or punctuation errors, which not finding any enhances the overall flow and read of the book.

Would I recommend this book to others? Yes

Would I read other books by this Author? Yes

Is this book a Novel or Novella? Novella, with continuing story line.

Is this book priced correctly? Yes I feel the price is very fare for a Novella.

Review:

I have to start out saying over all this is a well written story, with characters, whom you fall in love with. Charles is very believable as is Lady Jane and many other characters, which become an intricate part of the plot. The story flow is nicely paced and you don’t feel anything is left out.

Here’s the problem this story is supposed to take place in the 1800’s during the Victorian era, but the language used isn’t even Queen’s English its American English, which takes away from the story.  

Conclusion:

Would I recommend this book to others? NO

Would I read other books by this author? Yes as long as they don’t take place in a different era or country.  I like his over all style and flow of the plot line.

Is this book priced correctly? Over priced for paperback and ebook…… I’m a budget buyer and I wouldn’t have paid these prices.

Review:

This book is a DNF, I couldn’t connect with the story line, which I find weird since this is my favorite genre. I’ve spent eight days trying to connect with this book, but couldn’t even get past the first chapter.

Summary:

Would you recommend this book to others? NO, because if I couldn’t connect with it I doubt any of my friends could.

Would I read other books by this author? Unsure

Is this book a novel or novella? Nice length Novel

Is this book priced correctly? Way over priced I’d never pay that kind of money for a paperback book.

Review:

Logan who comes from a rich family who has been in Oklahoma for a while and has an established ranch, is asked from his dad to go and check out the ranch which they had just heard was now vacant wanting to expand their operation, he is thirsty so drops the buck into the well to draw some water, and it hits Harlee on the head.

This leads them on an adventure to find out what happened to her family and why they left her. At the same time, they fell in love, so when they do find her family Logan asks if he can marry Harlee.

I didn’t find any grammatical errors, which makes the reading so much more enjoyable.

Is this story priced correctly? It’s on the top end of what I’d pay for a Novella, but it’s worth the price.

5 Great Stars!

What a great read! I really loved this book! It was suspenseful, dramatic, action filled, and sexy as hell! I couldn't put it down, but had to clean the house before I went on vacation so it took me a tad longer to read, or I would have vegetated on the couch till I was done! 

I loved Eleanor! She was a wonderful heroine and her character growth was wonderful! Brice was a sexy Scot rivaling my love for Jamie Fraser! He was strong brave and honor bound! Yet vulnerable and so very loving at the same time! 

Great book and I am sure I will be reading more from this author!

Five Stars!

Wow! This was an intense read and I could not put it down once I finally got into it. At first I was like this is just not my book and then it picked up after chapter 2 and there was no stopping! This is a very intense story and deals with some very dark issues. Abuse to a child is a horrible thing and I can't even imaging the horror and lasting scars it leaves. Travis has a great deal of mental and physical scars and he wants to put an end to it ever happening to others. He is a dark hero, but his intentions and heart are so beautiful. I didn't like Morgan at first I thought her spoiled and dramatic, but she pulled herself up from that and became the catalyst to help Travis to start healing!

The last 25% of the book is nonstop and had me holding my breath! It is a great emotional evoking read! This is the first book I have read from this author and I am excited to see what other offerings she has!

Review:

From the very first page, you are sucked into this story and can’t walk away. Each of the characters comes alive, and you slowly learn which one’s to hate and which one’s to love.  This book is an ARC, so there are some spots, which need work on, but over all this book has what it takes to be a number-one seller.

This is one of those books, which touches the heart, and opens our mind to the truths, which so many try to hide. The characters all feel so real you forget your reading a fiction story. The development of the story as a whole is complex, and you can tell the author did much research to make the story feel as real is it does.  The flow is perfect; the style of writing is very clear, which helps to make the story feel so real.

In my review, I normally go into the grammatical and punctuation errors I find, but since this is an ARC, and I expected to find some, but didn’t. I did how ever come across a few area’s, which need some work to make they flow and connect with the readers more.

Page 20 PDF format “Kate had raised the female from a foal.” Nobody who raises horses says female when referring to their horse it’s always mare. I run a small ranch where I own and board horses.

Page 46 PDF format “The foals were her fourth litter born to her in the last six years.” Nobody in the horse world would say litter… Cats and Dogs as well as pigs have litters…  to make this sentence flow and connect with the readers it should have read. “The foals were her fourth born to her in the last six years.” Just take out the word litter. Also on this page the sentence, which reads, “He was their pride of the farm – a show horse champion….  In all my years around horses, I’ve never heard anyone say it that way so in my minds and in the minds of most people who are around horses it should read. “He is their pride of the farm – a Champion show horse.”

Would I recommend this book to others? YES

Would I read other works by this Author? YES

Is this book a Novel or Novella? Nice length Novel.

Is this book priced correctly? The e-book price is alright, but the paperback book price is on the high side in my eyes, as I’m a budget buyer and won’t spend that kind of money on a book unless it was a hardback.
