Great read again. Dom wasn't the brother I liked the best, so I wasn't sure I would like his story. He really is a wounded beast. His story is tragic and sad. It is very strange how Ella fits into to the story. I like her a great deal. She is fun and upfront. Ella falls hard for the gorgeous man he is HOT! and he is HOT in the sack! It must run in the family. I like her because she is not afraid to take what she wants and doesn't hold back. Women should be able to express their sexual wants and needs without judgment just like a man does. Just because you like sex doesn't make you a whore.
It was great to get a cameo of Jake and Lily. I love those two. We get to see again how much Jake takes care of his family. I really admire his character.
This one runs parallel to Jake and Lily, where the girl thinks she is doing the noble just thing and it all turns out to be wrong and corrupt. That the people you think are bad really are not in the slightest. Tax evasion is on the table this time with Ella as the enforcer.
It does have a twist and I kinda guessed it but I didn't find out till the end I was correct.

Well read my way through the Eden family. Shane was the one brother I was looking forward to, but as I read his story he turned out to be a real jackass at times.
Shane is the youngest brother and a total man whore. He sees it, he takes it. He is hot as hell and makes the ladies feel good. He sees Snow and has to have her damn the consequences. He sets it up to sleep with her for the weekend and that's it, but as they say crap happens. I didn't like how he treated Snow at times, he made me upset with some comments. He redeemed himself and proved to be as manipulative as his brother Jake.
Snow is a complicated woman. She got herself in a terrible situation and was abused beyond words. I am surprised she rallied as well as she did. I liked her strength, but she was very kind hearted and at times I wanted to slap her for being so naive about people. Her mom is a terrible person and Lenny is a disgusting pig. Wish Lenny could have met a untimely end. Glad she got her justice in the end.
Good sexy read, but Jake's story was the best! Enjoy

Not sure how I feel about this one. It had a different angle then the others I have read by this author. We get the forbidden love aspect but then it morphs into something quite different.
Layla and BJ get together after the can't control their attraction and kinda humiliate each other. She doesn't want to tell her family, it gets all twisted then bam it is out there and bam she is pregnant. I don't remember ever reading when they had sex that they didn't use birth control, but whatever. There was no warning to the reader that she was it just was thrown out there. To me there was just something missing etween them, they didn't light my fire with their chemistry and interactions. I just couldn't really buy into them as a couple. Then there was that incident on their honeymoon, stupid and hurtful to each other but they do it anyway.
Then there is a health issue. And all the emotions that go along with her choice come out. The author does a great job expressing the whole range and I liked that part. Every opinion that would possible be out there was addressed. I know what happened to her could happen and has happened, but it was a stretch for me. I know not my call and the author does state at the end that the opposite happens more regularly. So I have to pull back my judgement there.
It is ok...not a bad read, but not as fantastic and spell binding as what I have read by this author previously. I will keep reading the series. Enjoy!

Another win from this author....damn this book if freaking HOT! I need a shower and I need to find my hubby!
Wow what a twisty as heck book! Glad I could read this in one shot, if I had to read and wait then wait again I would have gone more insane then people tell me I am now.
It is hard to talk about the book without spoiling it.
Lily is one messed up woman. She has lots of secrets and tragedy in her life. She comes the distance in this book from a wrecked person to one that is happy and strong. She is interesting and hard to figure out at times.
Jake is freaking HOT, freaking A! He even has a tattoo on his man part! Woah! Yeah, that is what I said when I read that too. He is an interesting character and I underestimated him in so many ways. I can't say anymore or I will give it all away.
The sex us off the chain.....way off the chain. It is not safe to read this at work and you need to be close to something that will help you out after you read it, if you know what I mean.
The only part I didn't like was the big reveal and it kinda seemed a ad in realistic. That is why I gave it 4, well more like a 4.5.
Great read, hot as hell! I am off to the other books on the series! Enjoy!

This book is sooooo good!! I could not put it down. Zane is one hot MFer!!! HOT!! He is also a HUGE jackass!! He says a lot of stuff that is very vulgar and mean but you can tell it is just a cover up for how he really feels. He can't afford to have feelings and care about someone in his line of work. He is extremely manipulative for sure!!! But dang is he HOT!!
and dang is the sex even HOTTER!!! Panty dripping HOT!!! YIKES shower inducing damn!!! Off the chart chemistry between these two.

She is sweet and when given a credit card to spend money she spends it on the people in the mansion that have taken care of her or she buys shoes for her roommate. Dahlia takes things in stride, but she is falling fast for Zane and I am worried about her. She really doesn't want to fall in love and she does voice her displeasure with Zane, but heck if he gave it to me like he gives it to her I would just give in too, so I cannot blame her at all!!!
LOVED it will be reading the next even though I am a tad put out by the length I am suckered it 100% I am also going to check out her other stuff. I am on the hook until May 6th.... Oh joy!!
