Releasing Her Dragon
By Elianna Adams

SUMMARY
Trapped in her own body, she-dragon, Stella Montrose has no choice but to find her mate. Whether he likes it or not, he either has to claim her, or set her free, otherwise she'll lose the ability to shift. Sounds simple, only, every time she gets near him, he disappears.

When Brycen Conners signs on to protect an annoying human woman, he never imagined he'd cross paths with his mate. Once the job is done, he'll do whatever it takes to win her heart. Until then, he has to stay away

REVIEW
Best short short story I have read! Wow! I really liked it. Although it was short you really got the essence of the hero and heroine! I really like Stella she was no weakling and ready to take charge of her destiny even if it didn't include her mate. The villain dragon hunters are definitely that and I am sure they will be back in future installments. This is a great kick off for the series! I am in hook line and sinker. The chemistry is hot and the sex is hotter! I love dragons and lately what has come out has not been that good, but this is good and for .99 cents it isn't over priced! Great read can't wait for more!

It’s tough to put the past behind her when temptation is so close.Especially since the brothers seem bound and determined to woo her. Separately. Together.Whatever it takes to keep her right where she belongs—in their arms.Warning: Three cowboys all aiming for the same goal, and one woman with the cajones to give it to them—or wipe the floor with their butts, if necessary.

REVIEW
This was short hot and steamy. This very short but was well developed and all the characters got their due. It did move extremely fast, but the characters had a past that was explained, so it wasn't like they all just met on the street. It did seem somewhat cookie cutter and a tad unrealistic. There were no real true conflicts that you think would come with their idea of relationship. I thought there should have been some kind of something. Brand was developed more then the other brothers. I have to say that if did not receive an ARC I would not have paid $2.66 for a 73 page very short story. I think it is way over priced for the amount of pages and your "bang" for your buck.

This was a Scottish romance for sure.  Lots of handsome men in kilts, a woman in distress, and a mysterious villain.  I loved the development of the heroine.  Davina started out  as just a weak mouse, but as the story goes on she grows and gets her footing and becomes a strong woman.  James is the man and once his broken heart mends he turns into our Scottish alpha male!  Their chemistry is outstanding and the loving is hot!  Our mystery villain is a surprise!  Looking forward to the next story about Malcolm!  Great Story, Read!!

The Wedding Chapel

Review copy provided via NetGallery in exchange for an honest review

Summary: The Wedding Chapel

For sixty years, a wedding chapel sat silent, waiting for love. But times have changed and the hour has come when it just might be too late.
Retired hall-of-fame football coach Jimmy “Coach” Westbrook never imagined anything would come of his labor of love—the wedding chapel he built for Collette Greer, the woman he fell for back in ‘49. But now an offer has come to turn the chapel into what it was meant to be—a place for love—and Jimmy sees no reason to hang onto his dream any longer.
Photographer Taylor Branson is trying to make a life for herself in New York. Leaving her hometown of Heart's Bend, Tennessee, she put a lot of things behind her, including her family's abysmal marriage rate. But love surprises her when she falls head-over-heels for Jack Forester, a top ad man. Their whirlwind romance results in an elopement, and a mountain of doubt. Jack, while genuine in his love for Taylor, can never seem to overcome his own demons to find the words of his heart.
When Taylor takes an assignment in Heart's Bend, the job does more than send her back to her hometown, but into a world of family secrets buried beneath the sands of time.
When Taylor's journey intersects with Coach's, they rediscover the heartbeat of their dreams and that the love they long to hold is right in front of them. And worth every waiting moment.

Review:

This is a DNF (did not finish)  I couldn’t connect with any of the characters in the book; this is really rear for me. I’ve been trying to read the book since the 24th of Oct, and I just can’t connect with anyone.  I can tell that this is a quality written story. In the almost 200 pages I read, I didn’t see any grammatical or punctuation errors, which mean a lot of time and effort, went into making sure this story was perfect before publishing it. I liked the style of the story. A book of this length normally only takes me a day and a half to read.  I tried multiple times to restart it and see if I could connect with anyone, but after trying for two weeks I give up.

Summary:

Would I recommend this book to others? No, since I couldn’t finish it I can’t honestly recommend this book.

Is this a Novel or Novella?  Novel, which is close to 400 pages.

Would I read others books written by this author?  I’d like to give her another shot, as I did enjoy the writing style.

Is this book priced correctly?  Unsure since this book was a pre-published copy.

So now Jessa's on the biggest hit list of all. Dragon mark hunters are lethal and her only hope to evade detection is to keep the energy contained.

As more secrets unfold she finds herself locked up in Vanguard, the notorious American supernatural prison. Thankfully she’s not alone. Braxton, the dragon-shifter has her back. Together they must survive long enough to free themselves and the other dragon marked.

Because it’s time for the dragon marked to rise.

REVIEW

Five solid stars!

This story was out if this world good!  I am waiting on the edge of my seat for the next installment!  This has everything: --action, shifters, unresolved sexual tension, friends, long lost sisters, and mystery prophecy.  Jessa is a strong alpha female and is a great role model for any female character!  She is not wishy washy, she is not ruled by her lady parts, and she stays rational most of the time.  I like her confidence and I can't wait to find out who her mate is...Max or Braxton?  Well written and keeps you wrapped up in it till the end.  LOVED IT!

Strip You Bare (The Deacons of Bourbon Street, #4)
By Maisey Yates

SUMMARY
Micah Carpenter hates New Orleans. Hell, after ten years he no longer has much affection for the Deacons of Bourbon Street motorcycle club, either. But when the brotherhood calls, Micah answers. Micah knows better than to mess with ice princesses: No matter how hot things get, they never melt. And yet he can't stop himself from offering her a taste of the wrong side of the tracks.

Sarah Delacroix understands that reputation is everything. The daughter of a prominent family rocked by scandal, she's desperate to restore their good name. Micah's exactly the kind of man she should be avoiding. Behind his sleek and sophisticated exterior beats the heart of a predator—and she knows it. But, like the tattoos beneath his tailored suit, his rough edges are irresistible. And all too soon Sarah finds him getting under her skin . . . and living out every one of her hottest fantasies.

REVIEW

Really 3 1/2 stars.

I really loved the book before this one and I have to say this one just didn't hold up to it.  We had the good girl go "bad" and the "bad" boy realize he had some good in him.  Ghosts in the closets aired for all.  Great story line, but fell flat.  There just wasn't any chemistry between them to me.  It all seemed flat kinda forced and the justice sought to me wasn't had and very unsatisfying.  There was just something missing the zing the I can't put this down factor.  It isn't bad it just wasn't thrilling like book #3.  Good read enjoy the end of the series.

The Human Cure

Review copy provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review

Summary: The Human Cure

Kate Plesser is leading a dead-end life as an office assistant with a penchant for bad relationships. She is lost. When Kate is kidnapped by Hunter, a gorgeous stranger, she assumes he is just some sick psychopath. She never suspects he is actually a vampire, and that she is about to be plunged into a world stranger than her wildest dreams. In the underground city where Hunter lives, she encounters his otherworldly cousin Chase, who holds the key to her freedom. She is thrust into a village where humans are farmed for feeding and breeding. In this mysterious new world, Kate discovers she is capable of feelings and strength that she never could have imagined.

Review:

Very intriguing take on vampires, it’s a very fast passed story, which flows great. You quickly connect with the three main characters Kate, Hunter, and Chase. This is, one of those rare books, which once you start you can’t put it down.  The overall development of the characters and plot is very well done.

The reason for the three star rating is this; there are some grammatical errors, which made me have to reread sentences a few times in order to understand them. Anytime I have time I run across grammatical errors it takes the story down to three stars sometimes lower if the editing is horrible.  This only had two or three spots, but still they take away stars because to me published, books shouldn’t have any errors, I wanted to read stories with grammatical or punctuation errors in them; I’d read online stories through many different sites, with just as many genres to choose from.

Conclusion:

Would you recommend this story to others? Yes, but I’d warn them of the grammatical errors, so they aren’t surprised by them.

Would you read other stories written by this Author? Yes

Is this story a full length novel or a novella? Novel on the shorter end, but novel.

Is this story priced correctly? The ebook price is in the correct price range, but the paperback is over priced.
