Asher (Wolves of Winter's Edge, #3)
By T.S. Joyce
SUMMARY
Asher Striker is full of dark secrets. His brothers think he’s quiet because he’s moody, but Asher had to learn at a young age that if he doesn’t focus on controlling the power within him, he could destroy everything and everyone around him. All he needs to do is help Gentry and Roman open up Winter’s Edge, and then go back to his solitary life. It would be safest for everyone that way. But when a mouthy, funny, beautiful woman shows up at his inn, Asher begins to rethink where his life should be headed. Ashlyn makes him want things he can’t have. She’s wrecking his focus, but little by little, she’s also breaking down his walls and easing the darkness within him. And now he has to decide whether her fixing him is a good thing, or something that will get them all killed.
Ashlyn Jenkins has a bone to pick with her best friend, Blaire. She’s on a mission to save her from the three obvious psychopaths she lives with now. Sure, the Striker brothers are hot, especially the oldest, Asher, but Ashlyn’s duty is to her friend, first and foremost. That is, until she realizes Blaire is very different from the way she used to be. Now, the more time Ashlyn spends with Asher, the more she wants to unravel the mysteries around him and the life Blaire has built for herself. And when she witnesses the darkness that dwells inside of the quiet, silver-eyed, growly giant, she thinks she might just be able to save him. But Fate has plans for her and Asher that will change the course of not only their lives, but also the town of Rangeley forever.
REVIEW
Finally questions answered
Finally all the questions are answered!
I think I liked Asher the best out of the three. Sexy and hot. Holds back nothing.
Ashlyn is cool and takes no crap from anyone. I liked how the author brought her feelings out I think everyone has felt like her at one time or another. I think her character came off authentic and not that false oh I am alright and I understand crap. That isn't real life at all and Ashlyn is real!
Great series!

Roman (Wolves of Winter's Edge, #2)
By T.S. Joyce
SUMMARY
Roman Striker is on the hunt. His brothers may have big plans to save his hometown, but all Roman cares about is ridding the world of one vengeful alpha of the Bone-Ripper Pack, Rhett. Getting to Rhett is easy—mess with a submissive she-wolf in his pack named Mila and the alpha makes mistakes. But Roman and Mila grew up together and their history runs deep. And the more Roman gets to know the woman she’s grown into, the more he wants to pull her away from the pack for different reasons. She’s got his protective instincts at maximum, and he sure likes the way she looks at him, but he’s got dark secrets nobody knows about. The kind that could burn a sweet beauty like her.
Mila is just trying to make it from day to day at the bottom of a notoriously monstrous pack, but when Roman Striker blows into the bar she works at offering her a shot at a better life, hope starts to bloom inside her for the first time in years. If anyone can turn this messed up town around, it’s Roman, but he doesn’t realize his potential. And as she gets to know the Wolves of Winter’s Edge, she wishes for a life she could’ve had if Roman hadn’t left all those years ago. Her alpha has destroyed everything, and now Roman is showing signs of a darkness she doesn’t understand. As a war brews between the two clashing packs, she’ll have to pick a side...even if choosing a side means living with dire consequences.
REVIEW
Great addition
Wow the series just keeps getting better, but there are more questions then answers.
Roman was an interesting hero. He holds so much in and has lots of burdens, but tries to hide it behind jokes and laughs. He starts off with bad intentions, but....
Mila had the biggest journey. To believe in herself and break the weakness inside her. She amazed me with her strength and determination!
Great read can't wait to find out about Asher and the mystery of Odine.

Gentry (Wolves of Winter's Edge, #1)
By T.S. Joyce
SUMMARY
Gentry Striker is right back where he swore he would never be again—his hometown. All he has to do is tie up some loose ends and escape the darkness that has enveloped this place, but he can feel his destiny pulling him deeper into the shadows of this old town. The local pack has been taken over by one seriously unstable alpha, and Gentry is a rogue on a mission to escape. That is, until a striking beauty grabs his attention and demands to stay at the home he is renting out. The problem? She’s human, and isn’t safe in a town full of monsters. Perhaps Gentry is the biggest monster of all, but she’s got him wanting to dig back into his old life and become a better man. She doesn’t know it yet, but she has his wolf hunting her. And he’s not the only one.
Blaire Hayward is on a last-minute vacation to escape the monotony of her life for a little while. The plan is to spend some time in a cabin in snow country relaxing, but when she coasts into Rangeley, nothing is what it seems. The people in this town are acting strange, and there is something dark going on under the surface that she can’t quite figure out. And at the center of it all is Gentry Striker. Tall, snarly, sexy, and mysterious, he’s calling to her heart in ways she never thought possible. But the longer she stays, the more uncertain her life becomes, because Rangeley is no normal town. It’s a town of beasts, and Blaire is falling for the most dangerous of them all.
REVIEW
This book was different from any other book I have read from this author. There were more tones of unknown and mystery and lots of unanswered questions. Not all was explained as in the other series. We have witches and dark magic mixed with a sinister pack. There were also some editing mistakes that I haven't seen from this author before.
Gentry was one hot sex wolf with tons of issues. There is a huge family dynamic going on that still wasn't explained by the end. Gentry is the middle brother and he isn't as dark as the other two. Their dynamic is way off and it was never truly explained. Hopefully in the future.
Blaire was a total hoot! She was funny smart and had a cool snarkiness! She held her ground against all those brothers and stood tall against their judgments. Her backstory was laid out and she wasn't a mystery as much as the brothers. She also fought for what she wanted...Life with Gentry. I like her!
Again the sex is hot, always is from Ms Joyce. Gentry....in one word Yum!
Different book in a good way, I am on board with this new series.

Scorched (Rulers of the Sky Book 1)
Scorched (Rulers of the Sky Book 1)
SUMMARY
Marcus is a Drakkon as ancient as the stars, stronger than a mountain, and the last of his kind. Men now rule the earth. The time of the Drakkon is over thanks to the legendary Phoenix Amber and the Council of Elders who use its power to transform Drakkon into humans. When the Council discovers he may be hiding a treasure worth more than any dragon horde, they will stop at nothing to have it and transform him against his will.
Being human is worse than anything Marcus could have imagined. His brilliant cerulean scales are gone, replaced with paltry skin he is sure could not even stop a bird if one flew into him. But worse than imprisonment in a male body are the awakenings of unfamiliar human desires that are nothing like the animal urges that were so easily satisfied as a Drakkon— emotions like loneliness that make him seek out companionship with a woman who, unfortunately for him, happens to be a sweetly-scented virgin.
Samantha Montgomery isn’t about to go to bed with a man who believes he used to be a reptile, especially one whose smoldering smiles make her think of being consumed alive by fire, and loving it. A romance writer and product of the New York State foster care system, Sam just wants some normalcy in her life. She’ll never get it with Marcus. Should it matter that his wickedly passionate touch tempts her to yield all, even if all he wants is her virtue? He is everything she doesn’t want in a man. Fear of commitment is one thing, not loving anyone or anything for ten centuries is another. But he won’t leave her castle. He’s arrogant, proud, and a bit delusional as to his abilities, but despite all his infuriating ways, including reading her mind and ceaselessly trying to convince her that the knights she writes about were useless beings clad in metal, he works his way into her life by fixing what’s broken; from the stone wall outside her battle-beaten castle to the wall around her heart.
When Marcus discovers the treasure that prompted his transformation, he must make a choice. Give up his human heart and save the Drakkon race, or surrender his heart to love and remain a man forever.
REVIEW
Drakkons Rule!
Yeah I am so happy I get to end 2016 with a wonderful book! I have been so disappointed the last month and have even resorted in re-reading my books! But....I found this little gem and I couldn't be happier!
Marcus is so outstanding! He is all man/drakkon! His innocence about being human, yet arrogant at the same time warms your heart. His character seems so genuine. He is also sexy as hell! I love how he reads romantic stories to try and learn how to win Sam!
Sam is a great heroine. She has all the strength of the hero and didn't make me want to kill her! She stands her ground and knows how to put her man into his place.
The story has a great plot it has lots of tuns and twists. All the characters have depth and wonderful storylines. It is set up to be a great series and I want to visit that world again!
Great great read!

He had a plan for her. Her getting under his skin wasn't it.
I’ll stop at nothing to get what I want. It’s the Dyson way.
Ruthless? Maybe. But it’s what’s put me on top. And it’s what’s going to help me get revenge on the woman who put my family through hell.
I’m going to ruin Sienna Roberts.
My plan has been in play for months. She has no idea I’m the mysterious benefactor commissioning her artwork, or that the downfall in store for her will be the end of her career.
But there’s something I didn’t plan for—the way her smile and touch starts to make me forget all I blame her for…
REVIEW
Couldn't put this down! I know it is kinda cheesy, but it was sweet sexy and just a good story. I have to say I loved all the characters, even the supporting ones. Everyone had depth and just came alive. I was laughing out loud at some of their comments and dialogue.
Sienna, wow she was just a really great character. She had spunk and just lit the pages on fire when she was on them. She knew who and what she was and was so in touch with herself...I am so jealous! Sexy as hell too, I guess I am in a sista-romance!
James, what a f@ckwit, as Zach so elegantly calls him! He was really a jerk but, the author let us see inside him so we just didn't take him at face value. He grew into a wonderful person over the course of the story. You couldn't help but love him. He too is sexy as heck!
The other characters were wonderful and I would love to hear their stories! Even James' sister was interesting. Zach and Thomas stole the show though.
Great read! You will smile after you are done!
Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.
