She owns his soul, and that may cost him his life.

REVIEW
I really wanted to like this book...but I really didn't.  It started off so well, heroine wants to save her people and will risk anything to do so.  She finds what she is looking for and risks it all for her clan.  The characters were well developed, but there comes to a point where they are over developed.  The story dragged and instead of dialogues you got character thoughts for 3 pages!  Half the time it was the same thoughts you read 7 pages before!  I got to the point where I skipped and glanced at pages.  I know inner thoughts are important, but there comes a time when you just got to stop them.  There was a good heartfelt ending.  I would say the price for the book was not worth it.

Kissing Her Crazy

Review copy provided via NetGallery in exchange for an honest review

Summary:

Sometimes a kiss is so much more...

Single mom Lena Oserkowski just wants to relax at the 5-star resort where her brother is getting married. Oh, and figure out how to make one of her businesses successful enough to support her son. Her focus is thrown out of whack when Elliot Debusshere, twin brother of her new sister-in-law, swims to her rescue at the hotel pool.

Elliot is disillusioned with his wealthy, playboy lifestyle and wants nothing more than to bring some meaning and purpose to the charity he runs. When he rescues Lena from a case of heat exhaustion and meets her son Tyler, he has no idea the answer to his problems might have just fallen in his lap. Literally.

With Lena's ideas and Elliot's know-how, they might just be able to make their ventures a success. Except pleasure has a sneaky way of mixing with their business, leaving both dazed and confused. Charming as he is, Elliot isn't father material. And there's no room for a single mom and her child in his life. While the attraction between them isn't easily squashed, there's no telling the lengths his family will go to prevent a relationship.

Review:

This is one of those, fast-paced novellas you just can’t put down. It makes you smile and feel good.  From the instant you start reading; you are connected to Elliot and then when we are introduced to Lena. You can feel all the different emotions as you really start to feel the story. The connection between these two is so strong you know it’s going to end happy.

It is well thought out, as well as edited, where you don’t find grammatical or punctuation errors, which can ruin a good story. Its flow is spot on, and you don’t feel like you’re missing anything. Yes, like with all novellas, you feel like you want more, but I feel the same when reading a good novel… I never want stories to end.  It feels complete.

Conclusion:
Would I recommend this story to others: Yes

Would I read other books by this Author: Yes

Is this a novel or novella? Novella

Is it price correctly? It’s at the top of what I’d pay for a quality written novella, so I’

Desire(Big Bear Outlaw MC romance #1)

Desire(Big Bear Outlaw MC romance #1)
By Charlotte Byrd

SUMMARY
HE SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN AN OUTLAW, I SHOULDN’T HAVE FALLEN FOR HIM…

EMMA

Jack Hart was all wrong for me. He was in the Big Bear Outlaw Motorcycle Club. I was studying pre-med. He was a criminal, and I’ve never even jaywalked.

After my mom had left, the last thing I wanted was a relationship. But then I started falling for Jack. Why did he have to have a girlfriend? Why did I have to go out with his brother?

JACK

My family ran the MC, but there was so much more to me than the MC. I was a writer and I didn’t belong. The only person who saw this was Emma.

Why did I have to have a girlfriend? Why did she have to go out with my brother?

***Heat Level: Sensual and Hot!***

***Desire is the first installment of a 3-part Big Bear Outlaw MC Romance series. It is a short read designed to be read in under an hour, and it ends with a cliffhanger. All three installments will come out a week apart. You won’t have to wait long to read the rest of the story!

REVIEW
Not worth the time.

Ok this is not a book, it is part of a book, maybe. I now it says that, but really 40 pages?!?! The characters are very flat and not even inviting, In the second chapter she goes to a party and her friend's name is Delilah then changes to Donna then back to Delilah. She likes Jack but says she will go out with Kyle. The author makes Kyle out at first to be a thoughtful In depth guy but then has him selling drugs which he seems to have done for awhile, but nervous about it! Sorry not buying it. The whole thing is scattered and blowing in the wind. It had potential, but fell on its face. I wanted it to be good. The fight between good and bad was going to be interesting...but not something that is going to call me back to read. This just seemed like scattered thoughts on a page.

If you are going to write write a whole book. I would not have bought this book .99 for 40 pages is a total rip off!! Then you want a reader to read another 40 then another 40 for each .99! Wow I would hope people aren't that stupid. So $3 for 120 pages, ummm sorry that would be a big NO.

Spiral of Need (The Mercury Pack, #1)

Spiral of Need (The Mercury Pack, #1)
By Suzanne Wright

SUMMARY
Ally Marshall isn’t just a wolf shifter — she’s a Seer.

But a girl doesn’t exactly need special powers to know that Derren Hudson despises her entire kind. Disdain practically rolls off the Beta of the Mercury Pack . . . disdain mixed with a healthy dose of desire. And no matter how much the ruggedly handsome male appeals to her, this is one call of the wild she’s determined to ignore.

After one betrayal too many, Derren doesn’t have much use for Seers — except for Ally.

Forced into acting as her protector, he finds himself intensely and passionately drawn to the woman who incites his primal instinct to claim.

And when enemies target the pack, Ally’s gift may be just what the Mercury Pack needs.

Can he put his distrust aside, or will he force himself to turn his back on the one woman who makes his inner beast howl?

REVIEW
I was weary about reading this book. I always want to read a story by this author and then I read the reviews and change my mind. It was stated that her characters seem to change in middle of the story or there are actions in the story that would not match up with my views. I endeavored though and thought I would wade out in the water. I am so glad I did. I enjoyed the story and I enjoyed Ally. She was very snarky, smart, savvy, loyal, and just an all around good person. Derren was complicated and had more to him then the cocky alpha male role. They had great chemistry and were very hot together. I loved how protective Derren was and how he took care of Ally. I would have rated 5 stars, but sometime the sex was a little too much. Good read. Would read another on this series.
