REVIEW

reviewWhat a great read. I enjoyed it very much. I love historical romance and this one was wonderful. Malcolm was a very complicated man who wanted to change. He was very loyal and stood by his brother. He was quite arrogant at first but with the help of Emma he changed his ways and became the man he wanted to be. Emma was a strong heroine and she was amazing how she prevailed. Her honesty was honorable and she loved to say what was exactly on her mind. Her loss of sight didn't hinder her at all it made her stronger then ever. I loved her dog he saved her more than once. You can read this without reading the stories before. The books are costly though it is the only drawback. I would love to read more!

REVIEW

I picked this book because I wanted a hot and steamy read...like HOT! It started off like it was going to be, the main characters had great chemistry and the arrogant man was falling hard.....then we are playing cat and mouse about getting into bed! It is getting very annoying and my high hopes are falling. 30% through and nothing!! Their hemming and hawing killed the mood. Their smart-assed comments have totally ruined their chemistry. Then you throw in at random the story of his parents?! I know it has to do with the plot, but just when they were going to get down and dirty! Too much talking=not working for me! I just could not finish! It started off so well. I like that the Nicole was not a blushing virgin and wanted what she wanted...but her mouth and sarcasm yuk!! I had such high hopes!

Summary:

When the real world is emptied of all that you love, how can you keep yourself from dependence on the virtual?

Larissa lives in a world where the real and the virtual intermingle. After the supposed death of her soul mate, Andrew, Larissa is able to find solace by escaping to Nirvana, a virtual world where anything is possible – even visits with Andrew. Although Larissa knows that these meetings are not real, she cannot shake her suspicion that Andrew is indeed alive. When she begins an investigation of the Hexagon, the very institution that she has been taught to trust, Larissa uncovers much more than she ever expected. Her biggest challenge, however, remains determining what is real – and what is virtual.

Nirvana is a fast-paced page-turning young adult novel combining elements of the romance, mystery, and science fiction genres. Part of a three-part series, this book introduces readers to a heroine who refuses to give up on the man she loves, even if it means taking on an entire government to do so. As the lines between the real and virtual worlds begin to blur, Larissa and the reader realize that all is not as it seems, and the complex mystery only deepens.

Review:

I finished this book two days ago and have been thinking about just how to write this review. I know this is part of a series, but in my mind an important question came up in the prologue Larissa seemed irritated and bothered by Andrew, so when did they fall so deeply in love? For this reason I can’t give it a five star, but only a four star. For this book has it all when you are talking about a Mystery, Thriller, and you could put in another genre Apocalyptical. Larissa is a very strong heroin, whom you can feel all her emotions and this is why I asked the question how they fell in love.

The plot is a very complex plot and is developed with passion and intrigue. Larissa and Andrew both feel so much a live that you believe Larissa inner feelings that he isn’t dead.  The whole book flows nicely, and you are left wanting the rest of the series to hurry up and come out so you can continue on with finding out the truths. This book is very well written and edited as I found no grammatical or punctuation errors, which detract from the stores flow.

Conclusion:

Will I recommend this book to others? YES to any teen or YA I know, but since I don’t know many who read this type it’s very unlikely I will.

Would I read other books from this Author?  YES

Is this a Novel or Novella? Novel

Is it priced correctly? Unsure, I live on a fixed budget and would not have spent this kind of money on this book, but I’m glad I was given this free copy to read and review.  For people who don’t live on a tight budge like I do then I feel it’s in the right price range for the quality the person is receiving.

REVIEW

This book was good. Interesting take on vamps. I really don't see where the series is going to go. It just seemed all wrapped up. I was looking forward to a really hot ménage but it really was unremarkable and not really a ménage. It was a quick read. Really no conflict and kinda just blah. I think it could have been better, but I really don't know how to suggest to make it better.

REVIEW

Heart Melter
This book was ok.  I had a hard time with Dr. Ian.  He just seemed cold and arrogant.  Even when the author made him kind it just didn't seem right.  He was possessive, but I didn't find it thrilling and admiring, I found like it was an obligation or she was just another piece of art to have on his house.  He treated her like a child most of time and she was incredibly naive for someone who grew up around Broadway.  The sex between them wasn't shower inducing and at the end I just skipped over it.

Hear Tamer
Ok this story was just so out there!  Ok you go to your ex's sister's wedding to ask him to give you sperm for a baby!  REALLY!  That is just totally outrageous!  Then you have sex all night long say you're still in love and he just gets up and leaves on a "mission"  doesn't leave a note or message.  Then you find out you're pregnant only after two weeks?  Help!  This story needs a huge dose of reality!  What a waste of time and brain cells!

By Sue-Ellen Welfonder

The man she swore she would spurn forever now invades her thoughts, her dreams, and her heart.

What a kick butt story! I loved it from the first page and couldn't put it down. The characters were tremendous! They were strong and enduring. They were real life and even with all their strengths they had their weaknesses and insecurities. Roag was a great hero with duty and honor on his mind. He tried to be harsh and rude, but it just wasn't in him. He had such a kind heart and soul and Gillian brought it out in him. I loved Gillian. For once a historical romance novel had a strong woman from the start to the finish of the book. She loved Roag but she didn't have to depend on him to breathe. She knew what could happen, yet stepped up to the plate. I like the ghost part of the story too, the end made me cry. Roag learned the value of friends and family and most of all his loyalty to his friends benefitted him in the end. Great read!

To Be His

To Be His
By Terri L. Austin

SUMMARY
A companion novella to the RT Reviewer's Choice Nominee His Every Need, told from the hero's POV
I didn't amass an empire without taking risks, but I'm not a complete arse. So yes, when I offered to trade Allie Campbell three months as my mistress for her family home, it was a joke. Only thing is, she wasn't laughing...and she bloody well took me up on it.
Well, all right then; I could play that game. I figured I'd take her on, we'd have some fun, and in three months, she'd walk away with her family intact and I could get back to what I do best: making money.
But I'd made one mistake along the way. I stupidly assumed that after having her, I could walk away. I was wrong. I don't know how long this feeling-this consuming need-will last, but I'm not ready to let her go.
Not now. Not yet. Maybe not ever.

Not sure what to say about this book. I picked it without really knowing what it was about. I was really into it and was fascinated by this arrogant man who had issues. He was a dirty talking rich guy with no manners. I couldn't wait to watch him get changed by the little poor girl, but then it stopped! It just ended after they had sex. I was shocked because I then learned it was Trevor's POV on Allison's story. I thought if that was the case it should be the whole story not just a part! I realize this book is free, but it was like a rip off. The rest of the book was the first three chapters of the author's next book. I just felt like what was the point and what a freaking tease this book was.

The Lion's Shared Bride:A Paranormal Ménage Romance
By Bonnie Burrows

SUMMARY
Bored with conventional dating, Nina decided to try something different but she had no idea just what she was letting herself in for.

After signing up to an adult dating site she found herself receiving lots of different and very interesting propositions.

One in particular interested her a lot...

Two handsome young men named Soren and Aedan wanted to meet her and “share” her sexually for the weekend.

Nina had never experienced a menage before and the thought of being pleasured by two muscle bound hunks for a few days was very appealing to her naughty side.

However, she was soon going to learn that these men were also Lion Shifters and they have intentions for her way beyond just one weekend.

They need a mate and they need her soon....

REVIEW

Steamy

Story was ok. Kinda unrealistic in some ways, but I know it is fiction. Lots of steamy ménage action. The heroine to me is somewhat brainless and is easily manipulated with sex and food. I really felt she had no value, but just to be a plaything for the men. I got the book on special for .99, but I really don't see it worth $2.99.

A Warrior Wedding (The Protectors #7)

A Warrior Wedding (The Protectors #7)

SUMMARY

Breaking new and old laws, one Warrior is determined to save his mate no matter the consequences, but will his mate agree to be his downfall.

REVIEW

I bought this book because I have read all The Protectors books.  I really enjoy this author and love her storytelling.  The was a great story and got you emotionally involved.  My favorite character Jill is the center of the story.  I also like her mate Slade.  All the other protectors are in the story too.  The plot was fast paced and had you guessing at the outcome.  I had to read till I was finished.

But I couldn't truly totally love this book because it was so short and shouldn't be called a novel.  I also disagree with the price.  It was too much for too little.  I hate to think that one of my favorite authors is falling into the crowd of other authors who write small snippets and then charge full price.  I would have bought the book anyway, but I should feel like I got ripped off.

Great read too much money!
