Torin: Dark Sentinels book two

Summary:

When greedy land developers set their sight on Dark Sentinel land, Torin turns to attorney Stephanie Bates for help, but she'll need his protection to stay alive long enough to save his land.

Real estate lawyer, Stephanie Bates, has risen to the top of her field through meticulous sacrifices and goal setting. She has no time for distractions - and that includes pets, messy relationships, and loose ends.

Torin DuMont is a forensic scientist who chose the profession to avoid dealing with people as much as possible. Raised by a stepfather who hated him, he's been forced to live a life of solitude, fueled by anger and distrust. When wolves and shifters start turning up dead, Torin must battle an enemy bent on destroying those he was born to protect. His greatest challenge, however, is Attorney Bates and the surprising affect she has on his heart.

Review: Three Stars

I enjoyed the over all book, but there were some major grammatical errors, the biggest being on page 80 Sable says "That was cord Syreen's have a hard labor,....." then you read on and on page 142 Sable, says "That was my Mate, Akila. Cord called earlier to tell me Syreena is in some pain, but she's not in labor yet...."  You can't have it both ways she's either in pain or having hard labor. I could write a few other examples, but that would be nit picking.

Unlike the first book Sable the flow felt off and think part of it was due to the grammatical errors as a few sentences AI had to reread to make sense of them.

Overall the plot was well developed, the characters were also developed and you felt that emotional connection to them, which is what any good author does.

Conclusion:

Since this is the second book in a series I'll more in likely finish out the series cause I fill I've invested time into it and the first book blow me away. I so wanted this one to blow me away also. Unlike the first book which was a Novella, this was a full length novel.
