I have read the series that the authors wrote as Kit Rocha and I loved them, so I tried this! I am so glad I did! This was a terrific story. The characters are so complicated and real. There are no cookie cutter characters. The emotions they went through were believable and so honest it cut you to the bone. Each character grew emotionally as the story went on. Valuable lesson, everything isn't what it seems! I kinda figured out what really happened, but the authors surprised you about how it all came out. I also appreciate how the characters reacted. It was realistic and not over the top drama The story also showed you how your friends can become your family! I highly recommend this story and I will read the next one!
